Today, regulations demand better clinical data collection and management practices.  If your data quality doesn’t meet today’s government standards, your trial results won’t be accepted by regulators.  Old tools - like spreadsheets used as clinical trial data registries - are not capable of meeting these current, more stringent data quality standards.
