He has coauthored five books, written more than 500 articles, delivered more than 300 sessions and 100 training days all over the world. He is an Oracle ACE Director, a member of Oak Table Network, and a member of the Board of the Exadata SIG. He blogs at arup.blogspot.com. GAJA VAIDYANATHA is the CEO of DBPerfMan LLC (dbperfman.com), a consulting firm based in the San Francisco area. His company specializes in technical and strategic management of Oracle systems in the areas of Exadata, system performance, high availability and disaster recovery, information lifecycle management and cloud computing. He has provided technical product management direction for companies such as Oracle Corporation and Quest Software. Gaja is coauthor of "Oracle Performance Tuning 101" and is a frequent speaker at Oracle events. GURMEET GOINDI is Group Product Manager in the Oracle Database High Availability group, with a focus on storage, data protection and flash. Currently, Gurmeet owns the product responsibility for Exadata Database Machine. As an evangelist for Oracle, he has presented Oracle's vision at various industry forums – Storage World (SNW), Memory Summit, Open Server Summit, Data Storage Innovation Conference, Storage Developer Conference, IOUG Collaborate and many other regional Oracle user groups. Gurmeet previously worked at NetApp in the engineering organization. PETE FINNIGAN is a renowned security assessment expert for Oracle Databases. He is the author of the "SANS Oracle Security Step-by-step guide versions 1 and 2 - A survival guide for Oracle security", the basis for the Internet Security Benchmark for protecting Oracle databases worldwide from intrusion. He is a frequent speaker on the subject of Oracle security at events including Blackhat, UKOUG, Northern UK Security Group, and InfoSec. Pete is CEO of PeteFinnigan.com Limited, a company specialized in Oracle security TARUN CHATTERJEE has over 15 years in the systems integration and product solutions space covering data management and enterprise architecture. Tarun is part of the Sales Consulting team at Oracle. He has supported Oracle customers in this region with issues related to large data warehouses. Tarun has been working with various agencies that need support with data management and data architecture solutions.
